Mt Martha golf not crowded. Many better views on course, sunny cool. Then to cost via Hearn road over the top of the Mount Martha, onto the coastal drive north - just like the Amalfi coast- with no traffic!. Stopped for quick beach view Martha. Then coastal drive through Mornington to the North end of it and up some dirt roads on a steep hill with fabulous homes and views to the sea. Then onto Nepean highway to Mrt Eliza, and the Morning Star Restuarant for parfait and coffee. Then a few hunded meters to end of Sunnyside Road, to see a cove with almost no sand but some Massersti type sportscars parked- not a place women would go to the beach,.Mt Eliza. No sign of racehorse property there now all grape vines. Then onto highway to Canadian bay Road, through Mr Eliza to coast to a small bay and a very quiet spot with NO noise by 4.30 pm, except lapping waves. From there it was only a simple 40 minute drive back almost all on good highways and toll roads.

Mt Martha public course, long hilly, fantastic views to Port Phillip Bay and Arthur's Seat.
Also their Pro shop  verandah has fantastic views but terrible machine coffee and  pies, pasties and candy bars.
Mt Martha beach looking south. too cold for anything but fishermen.

Morning Star, Weddings, dinners and fabulous gardens, formal roses etc.
We  had  parfait and coffee here sheltered from cool winds,in the warm sun here.
