Beechworth Recorder Guild Weekend
This required a four hour drive from Melbourne through beautiful undeveloped farmland from Yarra Glen to Yea then east towards Mansfield with a north turn towards Benalla then another road to Swanpool - passing many vineyards as well as cattle grazing on green grass that has sprouted since the drought has broken. Then we arrived at this beautifully preserved historic gold mining town and took up residence at The Old Priory B&B , which was an excellent venue.
