NSW Wentworth Jail Saltbush Darling meets the Murray

Saltbush in NSW along the Murray on road to Wentworth- the road from there to Renmark was closed due to rain but the view was flatter than this! Tractors were used to build a levee to prevent a big flood of Wentworth in 1956 Aboriginals cut out a canoe from this tree many years ago. Built 1879

Historical Architecture in Eaglehawk and Bendigo Gold mine town

Eaglehawk buildings have very spectacular polychrome brickwork with unusual patterns and specially moulded bricks. Whilst there is much nineteenth century polychrome brickwork throughout the state of Victoria, some of these designs are not reproduced elsewhere in the state.
